Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of text2voice.ai (the “Service”), operated by Voxwave LLC (“Voxwave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company organized in the State of Texas, United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

text2voice.ai is an online text-to-speech application that converts text you provide into synthetic voice audio, which you can play and download. Audio is generated using third-party AI voice providers.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. Accounts and authentication are handled by our provider, Clerk. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Credits, pricing & payments

  • The Service is offered on a prepaid, pay-as-you-go basis. You purchase “Credits” in packs, and Credits are consumed when you generate audio. Credits are a license to use the Service, not money, stored value, or a general-purpose instrument, and have no cash value.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge and agree to Stripe’s terms.
  • Refunds: Credits are non-refundable once used. Unused Credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, on request to the contact address below.
  • Prices, packs, and Credit consumption rates may change; changes are not retroactive to Credits already purchased. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

4. Your content & ownership

“Input” means the text and settings you submit; “Output” means the audio the Service generates. As between you and Voxwave, you retain your rights in your Input and, subject to these Terms and the terms of the underlying AI providers, own the Output you generate. You grant Voxwave a limited license to host, process, and transmit your Input and Output solely to operate and provide the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your Input and to use the resulting Output, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • generate audio that impersonates a real person or clones a voice without that person’s consent, or that is passed off as a genuine recording of a real individual without disclosure;
  • create content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • generate spam, scams, disinformation, or content intended to mislead;
  • violate the acceptable-use policies of our AI voice providers (OpenAI and Fish Audio);
  • resell, redistribute, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted, or attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security controls; or
  • reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.

6. AI-generated content

Output is synthetic and produced by machine-learning models. You are solely responsible for how you use the Output and for complying with all applicable laws, including any laws governing synthetic media, disclosure, and consent. Where required, you must disclose that audio is AI-generated.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), OpenAI and Fish Audio (voice generation), and Cloudflare and Render (storage and hosting). Your use of the Service may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

8. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; if we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOXWAVE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voxwave and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Input or Output, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.
